چکیده
gTOOLS is an open-source software for the processing of relative gravity data. available in MATLAB and as a compiled executable to be run under free Runtime Compiler. The has been designed time-lapse (temporal) monitoring. Although programmed read Scintrex CG-5 CG-6 gravimeters output data files, it can easily modified files from other gravimeters. binds together single-task modules within very simple user interface that based on one text file. Gravity involves three modules: (a) gravimeter calibration; (b) automatic find adjusted differences; (c) post results. Each module optional runs independently others. Data includes averaging out measurements noise, correction solid Earth tides, ocean loading, residual instrumental drift, calculate drift differences between base station monitoring sites, their uncertainties, by weighted least square analysis allows campaign spanning multiple days single run. tested 2015 eruption at Cotopaxi volcano, Ecuador. • Particularly suited Designed work with CG-6, beeasily adapted Automatic Rigorous propagation uncertainties Code thoroughly verified tested.

pyGrav, a Python-based program for handling and processing relative gravity data
pyGrav is a Python-based open-source software dedicated to the complete processing of relative-gravity data. It is particularly suited for time-lapse gravity surveys where high precision is sought. Its purpose is to bind together single-task processing codes in a user-friendly interface for handy and fast treatment of raw gravity data from many stations of a network. The intuitive object-based ...
متن کاملDelivery4D: an open–source model–based Bayesian seismic inversion program for time-lapse problems
An extension of the open–source Bayesian AVO inversion program Delivery [1],[2] to time–lapse seismic inversion problems is described. The inverse problem is for a trace–wise layer–stack model comprising unknown layer–times, rock properties, fluid types and saturations, and pore pressure changes. The “data” are true–amplitude imaged/migrated seismic reflectivity traces, for arbitrary numbers of...
متن کاملSensitivity analysis of time lapse gravity for monitoring fluid saturation changes in a giant multi-phase gas reservoir located in south of Iran
The time lapse gravity method is a widely used technique to monitor the subsurface density changes in time and space. In hydrocarbon reservoirs, the density variations are due to different factors, such as: substitution of fluids with high density contrast, water influx, gas injection, and the variation in reservoir geomechanical behavior. Considering the monitoring of saturation changes in the...
متن کاملA method for 2-dimensional inversion of gravity data
Applying 2D algorithms for inverting the potential field data is more useful and efficient than their 3D counterparts, whenever the geologic situation permits. This is because the computation time is less and modeling the subsurface is easier. In this paper we present a 2D inversion algorithm for interpreting gravity data by employing a set of constraints including minimum distance, smoothness,...
متن کاملStrengthening the virtual-source method for time-lapse monitoring
Time-lapse monitoring is a powerful tool for tracking subsurface changes resulting from fluid migration. Conventional timelapse monitoring can be done by observing differences between two seismic surveys over the surveillance period. Along with the changes in the subsurface, differences in the two seismic surveys are also caused by variations in the near-surface overburden and acquisition discr...
